Happy birthday, Oliver
Today would have been Oliver Sacks’s 91st birthday, and we want to celebrate by sharing the cover of his forthcoming book with you. This charming, never-before-seen photo of Oliver was taken in 1997 by his good friend Rosalie Winard, a few blocks from his home on Horatio Street in Greenwich Village.
Oliver Sacks’s LETTERS, full of his deepest thoughts on music, art, and science, friendship and resilience, and what it takes to lead a meaningful life, will be available on November 5.
